Welcome to the website
of the Stark County (Ohio) High School Bowling Conference
(SCHSBC). The purpose of this website is to communicate the schedule, results
and other pertinent information to the member schools, the bowlers, their
families and supporters during the high school bowling season. I, Bob Kolarik in serving as
SCHSBC commissioner,
am responsible for
organizing the conference schedule and overseeing the competition, while administering the
conference finances and this website.
I will post periodic
reports from meetings, decisions on issues and briefs on various topics. I also
will use this website as a vehicle to make announcements regarding conference
activities including the post-season All-Star match and the conference banquet.
I will archive conference
records and past achievements here as well. With your help and
cooperation, I will try to keep the schedule current, to post match results
promptly and to update the standings and rankings routinely.

Our Mission
The mission of the Stark County
High School Bowling Conference is to provide an environment for students to
learn the game of bowling and to compete for the honor of their school and for
their personal distinction.
The Ultimate Prize
The 2009-10 season will be the 4th
year in which bowling is recognized as a varsity sport sanctioned by the Ohio
High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). Any Ohio high school may choose to have a
team or individuals participate in the state tournament. The competition
begins in the boys and girls divisions at the sectional level as organized by the
respective district athletic boards. A designated percentage of teams and
individuals advance to district competition and then to the state tournament.
The website will present information on the procedures for qualifying teams and
individuals, as well as the results. Additional information is available at the
websites of the Northeast District Athletic Board (NEDAB) or the OHSAA.
