2011-12 State Tournament

The five (5) highest scoring teams and the five (5) highest scoring individuals from non-advancing teams from the Northeast District tournament advanced to the State tournaments at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl in Columbus on Friday, 02Mar12 for Boys and Saturday, 03Mar12 for Girls.  Coldwater won both the Boys and Girls state championships.  The qualifying, individual and bracket results are available on the OHSAA website.  Those links can be found on the LINKS page of this website.

Anthony represented the Boys from the SCHSBC well finishing tied for 15th as an individual participant with a 627 three-game series.

In the Girls competition, Jackson edged into 8th place qualifying for a best of five Baker game match with top seeded Hubbard.  Like last year with Perry's boys, the Jackson girls took a 2 games to 1 lead over the higher seed in a see-saw match, but couldn't bank another game and finished 8th.  The Perry girls charged into qualifying position with one of the higher team games and came back with the highest Baker game, but fell 61 pins short of qualifying 8th position in 12th place.

Individually the ranking of SCHSBC Girls was as follows:
17. Autumn Heaton (Jackson) - 573
18. Taylor Black (Perry) - 569
21. Marisa Easterday (Jackson) - 559
46. Taylor Sturm (Jackson) - 510
50. Tara Myers (Perry) - 501
58. Karlee Eick (Minerva) - 493
79. Jackie Howald (Jackson) - 445
81. Maria Loan (Jackson) - 442
83. Heather Brownsword (Perry) - 436
